Minnesota State Community And Technical College – Moorhead

Minnesota State Community and Technical College offers a total of 120 different technical programs for those who live in the Moorhead area. The college offers two different ways to become a CNA: through an hours based course and through a credit based course. Both are approved by the state of Minnesota.

Itasca Community College

The Itasca Community College, located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, focuses on offering a diverse set of degree programs, including transfers, two-year degrees, and technical certifications. The CNA certification program at the school involves three semester hours of classes, which equals 80 total credits that will be needed before a student may pass the state exam.

Frederick Community College

Located in the town of the same name, Frederick Community College is a part of the Maryland System of Community Colleges. It offers students a choice of associate’s degrees, technical certification, and transfer credits programs. Students who wish to become a CNA will need to take proper courses through the school’s allied health division.

Front Range Community College Longmont

As one of the satellite campuses, the Front Range Community College of Longmont offers more than 100 different work ready certification programs, including the classes needed to become a CNA. All students must complete one semester of training that includes classwork as well as clinicals before they can become a certified nurse aide.

Arapahoe Community College

With campuses in Littleton, Parker, and Castle Rock, Arapahoe Community College is a fully accredited school associated with the Community College System of Colorado. This school offers two-year degrees, technical certifications and transfer credits. The nurse aid certification requires a total of three classes that can be taken in one semester.

Red Rocks Community College

Red Rocks Community College is a part of the Community College System of Colorado and it is state accredited to offer more than 100 different programs of study, including two-year degrees and certifications. For students to be eligible for the state nurse aid competency exam, they must complete two courses over a semester.
