Nursing care and medical treatment of patients; Job requirements: Completion of the prescribed curriculum in a hospital and followed by 6 months to 1 year paid experience as a licensed Vocational Nurse in the state. Physical Class: 4-Arduous: involves frequent heavy lifting over 25 pounds, often combined with bending, twisting, or working on irregular surfaces and occasionally requires extraordinary physical activity. You will need a license to practice as a vocational nurse issued by the state; a valid state Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize a method of transportation when needed to carry out your duties.

You must have documentation showing the completion of the required curriculum and or copy of their license to practice Vocation Nursing in the state at the time of filing. Successful candidates must complete a thorough back ground investigation, including fingerprint search. You cannot have any felony convictions, 3 moving violations in one year; suspended license, poor credit history, poor employment history, substance abuse and/or anyone on probation.
   
Job functions can consist of having knowledge and skills necessary to care for patients. Make rounds of inpatient areas to observe and report condition of all patients to nursing personnel. Observes visible signs of patient condition and reports these observations to the nursing staff on duty. Apply dressings, administers medication through injection or orally, administers therapeutic measures such as sitz and starch baths, bladder irrigations, and intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing treatments.
