Getting CNA Certification in Vermont

After you complete your CNA classes, you will need to pass the Vermont LNA examination to become licensed. To take the test, you will need to provide proof of ID, proof of education and your materials such as pencils. The exam includes a question and answer session as well as a hands on section. You must pass both sections to pass the exam. You will have a chance to take the exam three times in order to get a passing grade. In the state of Vermont, if you do not pass in those three chances, you will have to retake all of your base CNA classes and training.

After you have completed and passed the exam, all that you need to do is get your LNA certification and get your name registered on the nurse aide registry.
