Finding CNA Classes in Pennsylvania

Finishing a Pennsylvania CNA Certification

Once you have finished with your class work, the last part of your Pennsylvania CNA certification will largely depend on the exam. You will need to take the Pennsylvania CNA final certification exam and you will need to pass it to become certified. More information about how to register for the exam can be found on state website. You will need to register for the exam at Pearson Vue, which can be found here.

The final steps in your CNA certification will largely be paperwork. Of course, you will have to pass a federal background check and you will have to submit your fingerprints to the federal government and the state government. Finally, after you have completed all of the above steps, you will need to have your name put on the nurse aide registry. This will allow you to start looking for jobs. Keep in mind that throughout your career, you will need to keep your registry listing up to date. You will need to renew the registry every two years and you will have to prove that you worked at least eight hours within those two years.
